When I came in for my first colonic, I had been suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease (first ulcerative colitis, and later Crohn’s Disease) for 30 years. Although I had avoided surgery all those years, I had gotten to the point where I was frequently very constipated. In fact, on Christmas Day, 2000, I spent 8 hours at the emergency room because my large intestine was so backed up that they very nearly had to do emergency surgery. My first colonic not only started to permanently relieve the constipation, but in the space of that 1-hour visit, it also eliminated 1.5 inches from my waistline and softened my abdomen, by eliminating the distension caused by all of the junk that was lodged in the folds of my colon.
